Showcase Lighting:Top Multi-light Source Accent Lighting

For LEDs, currently the most common is the alcove-style showcase with multi-point accent lighting on the top. One light is enough. Due to the optional beam angle and color temperature, the light projection effect is very good.

For general independent cabinets, double-number lamps will be used, arranged symmetrically, to achieve key lighting for exhibits.

Due to multi-point projection, multiple shadows will be caused, and symmetrical distribution can eliminate or weaken shadows. At present, more and more showcases purchase this form of lighting, and there are more upgrades now:

Equipped with variable beam angle showcase lights, the size of the spot can be flexibly adjusted according to the size of the exhibits.

Equipped with a lamp dimming knob, the brightness can be adjusted according to the characteristics of the exhibits.

Of course, this method should also pay attention to security issues:

1. The lamps and lanterns should be installed around, and there are no exhibits in the lower part to avoid falling damage.

2. Add a layer of grille under the luminaire or equip the luminaire with an anti-drop device.

The multi-point key lighting on the top can fully express the exhibits. However, some exhibits have complicated shapes, especially the exhibits with low light on the top. The light from the upper part cannot reach the lower part, which will make the lower part very dark.

The commonly used method is to light up and down, the upper part uses accent lighting, and the lower part uses surface light to supplement, so that the details need to be fully expressed.

This method should pay attention to two problems:

1. The surface light in the lower part is auxiliary lighting, and it should not be too bright, otherwise the key lighting in the upper part cannot show the level of exhibits.

2. The lower part of the surface light should preferably be dimmable, and adjust the light and shade according to the environment and the conditions of the exhibits, so as to avoid glare, and the audience will not experience eye fatigue when enjoying for a long time.
